The Merry Maiden

The Merry Maiden is an adults-only visual novel that drops players into a dark medieval character drama where choices, intimacy and consequence shape the story. You play through an illustrated narrative about a couple running an alehouse, a criminal bargain, and secrets that push relationships to the brink; the experience emphasizes slow-burning tension rather than fast rewards. Players who value strong writing, mature themes, hand-rendered artwork and moral ambiguity will find reasons to download The Merry Maiden. The Android build is experimental while the Windows release is the definitive version, and the game is offered for free with optional support for the developer.
