SignalButton

SignalButton is a simple communication and accessibility app that turns a phone into a one-tap calling and messaging hub, designed for seniors, assisted living residents, caregivers and anyone who prefers a stripped-down interface. Large, high-contrast buttons let users place calls or send pre-recorded or text-to-speech messages with a single touch, while a dedicated Talk button enables live voice calls. The app removes menu navigation and clutter so essential contacts are always reachable, making it practical for residential care settings, families who need quick contact options, and people who benefit from an accessibility-first design.

✅ Customizable presets speed up common requests like 'I need help' or 'I'm thirsty', useful for staff and residents alike.

Disadvantages

❎ Requires Android 8.0 or higher, so it won't run on older devices.
