Helly Hansen App

The Helly Hansen App brings the brand’s outdoor gear, weather tools, and product services into one mobile experience, helping users discover, buy, and maintain technical apparel for sailing, skiing, and everyday protection. It combines a searchable catalog, fit guidance, and real-time weather data to support active outdoor lifestyles.

Core Features

The Helly Hansen App places essential tools and resources at your fingertips. A clean product catalog lets you filter by activity, technology, and materials while high-resolution images and technical specs simplify comparisons. Built-in weather forecasts and marine conditions help plan sessions on the water or in the mountains. Members can unlock exclusive offers, manage orders, and access service options like repairs and product registration.

Smart Shopping and Product Discovery

Searching for the right jacket or base layer becomes easier with targeted recommendations and curated collections. The app includes:

• Advanced filters for size, insulation, waterproof rating, and intended use.
• Saved searches and wishlists so you can track items and receive alerts when stock or prices change.
• Store locator that shows nearby retailers and hours, including click-to-call and directions.

These functions streamline the shopping workflow for users who want to make informed purchases quickly.

Fit, Sizing, and Measurement Tools

Accurate fit matters for performance clothing. The Helly Hansen App offers step-by-step measurement guides and sizing charts tailored to each product line. For many items, there are fit notes that describe intended layering and mobility. Users can save body measurements to receive size recommendations across multiple products, reducing returns and ensuring a better initial fit.

Weather, Safety, and Activity Planning

Real-time weather integration is one of the app’s strongest practical tools. Marine forecasts, wind data, precipitation maps, and UV indexes are available for saved locations. These features are helpful for sailors plotting routes, skiers checking storm windows, or commuters planning an outfit for unpredictable conditions. Alerts and push notifications can be customized so you only receive the information that matters to your activities.

Care, Repairs, and Sustainability Tools

Extending the life of technical garments improves value and reduces waste. The app includes maintenance instructions for different materials and coatings, plus step-by-step guides for washing, drying, and reproofing. There is also a repair request flow that lets you submit product details and photos to arrange professional servicing. Product lifecycle information and material sourcing notes help users make more sustainable choices.

Community, Content, and Learning

Users can access editorial pieces, how-to videos, and expert tips on layering, on-water safety, and winter preparedness. The Helly Hansen App curates seasonal guides and featured product stories that highlight technology like waterproof membranes and insulation systems. Content is tailored by activity preference so you get relevant advice without excess browsing.

Performance and Compatibility

Designed for modern Android devices, the app balances visual detail with responsive performance. Image assets are optimized to limit data use while caching improves load times for repeated views. Background sync keeps your cart and wishlist consistent across devices. Battery and data consumption are minimized through selective location polling and configurable update intervals. The app supports a broad range of screen sizes and maintains accessibility options for legibility and navigation.

Getting Started

Download, create an account, and allow optional permissions like location for weather features. Add measurements to receive size recommendations, enable notifications for sale alerts, and link a preferred store for pickup options. If you already own Helly Hansen gear, register product details to access warranty and repair services faster. The intuitive onboarding flow helps users set preferences in minutes.

The Helly Hansen App is built for people who spend time outdoors and want practical tools that remove friction from planning, buying, and caring for technical apparel. From accurate weather updates to personalized fit advice and repair services, the app supports a full product lifecycle and helps extend the usefulness of performance gear.
