Terrible app for tourists. I entered my mobile number ( had to find England spelt in Turkish). After I entered my mobile the app let me change to English language. The app will not accept my UK mobile number and give no error or reason for not accepting. Perhaps they should use real coders. Hopefully the app will one day work because the Istanbulkart is one of the best ways to travel in turkey. Also, bring back the picture cards and get rid of the boring new red card.

Useless app. Installed in 3 phones, none worked. The app just closed as soon as I wanted to load the balance. Can't also check the balance either. It worked before Idk why it doesn't work now. Disappointing. Ps: I use it in Turkish, not English Update: I finally could proceed until the bank confirmation, took 20tl but it didn't load the balance. It literally just took my money, wow!

Useless for tourists, you need a local phone number to use the app. When you chose English language in the app, "clarification text" still comes in Turkish, and that's the only thing you are actually able to click without passing registration

As a foreigner and a student I want to put an English review, hoping this would help a little bit for non-Turkish speakers. A really good update over the old one. The UI looks really nice now and in top of that a lot of new features and customization added. Opinion might be different for other people but for the one who used the old version, this is by far superior. Some of new features are not fully optimized yet, but I'm pretty sure some updates will come eventually.

Cannot process credit card instruction early in the morning(tried 3 credit cards), when most needed. Maybe bank issues, but before launching such an app, municipality should make sure app is well integrated with credit cards and able to process credit loading 7/24. Also user interface is not so stable and sometimes it has issues reading the card thru NFC.

Registered fine, but when I go to top up it keeps telling me I haven't selected an amount. I have. Just go in circles getting the same error. The developers should have tested the app before doing anything else. Don't waste your time.
